Rituals in 3d

It’s not that I dislike the movies at all. I really liked them when I was a kid. And even now they have their entertaining moments. Though newer installment are only so so.

But this constant rereleasing them to theaters with some bells and whistles added to them… Really?

There’s a huge and rich worked out universe they’ve created, but instead of using those stories to create movies (for which they have ample cash) they keep bringing these movies out over and over again. There might be some George Lucas fanboys out there but he really is a hack. He lucked out with Star Wars which was great. But he keeps clinging to that one success story for his dear life.

Oh and 3D is just a fad well, designed so we can pay more money when we go to the cinema.

Weapons of mass distraction

This I’ve seen happen at almost every company I’ve worked. They hire some hot girl/woman to do administration, or some interning function, and all the men are almost constantly hovering around her.

Usually the women don’t seem to mind and love to chat. Horrible for productivity. Great for morale and general ‘behaviour’ though. As they instantly stop swearing, playing their music loudly and rediscover the concept of personal hygene.

So it really is a matter of which you want. More productivity or better behaving employees.

Of course such distraction are apparently lost on Rain.

People you meet at cons, part 2

There really was a squad of stormtroopers there.

Not much else to say. Though if you’re offended by panel two. Then you take life way too seriously.

People you meet at cons part 1

Visiting conventions is always an amusing activity. This was the first time I was at the Stripdagen in Houten of which you can find a write up on my personal blog.

But the people you see there tend to fall into various categories. Some of which displayed here.

The cameo in the fourth panel is best explained with this image you can find more from him here.

Anybody in there?

Is it bad to gloat over having a giant Cintiq? Because that’s what I’m doing right now.

If you followed my twitter you’ll have seen my unboxing adventure, to me putting it up there.

Was it worth it?

Totally. It’ll take some used to the huge area to work with.

So you might see weird and subtle changes in the comic as I progress.
